The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care shop in Church Passage, Barnet reopened on Saturday 20th July 2024. Everything is now spick and span following a major refurbishment to make good the damage caused by a serious leak at the beginning of June.
This has been a challenging time for CL Shop staff and volunteers, but everyone has worked incredibly hard to get things back on track. Now that the shop has reopened, we are looking for additional volunteers to join our friendly team.
Might you be able to give some time to make our shop as profitable as possible to help fund Cherry Lodge’s much needed cancer information and support services?
The shop is normally open for business from 9am to 5pm from Monday to Saturday. Can you spare half a day a week to join our team? We are looking for reliable and friendly people of all ages to:
- serve in the shop
- receive, sort and prepare donated goods for sale
- help keep the shop and its contents looking smart and tidy.
As a shop volunteer you can:
- gain valuable experience
- learn new skills
- add to your cv
- make new friends
- show your support for our charity
