Thank you very much indeed to David Piha for surpassing his target and raising an impressive £1,295 (+£198.75 Gift Aid) for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. David, who is a member of BNI (British Network International), raised this money for us in memory of his mom-in-law, Ilona Krombein. Thank you also to all his sponsors.
David’s fundraising activity was to swim 5k at the London Aquatics Centre in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park – a Marathon Challenge that he achieved on Sunday 10th November 2019. This was no mean feat – can you imagine swimming 100 lengths of this huge, iconic pool?
Donations like David’s make it possible for Cherry Lodge to continue to provide our much needed information and support services completely free of charge to people affected by cancer.
