Rumble with the Agents is the biggest white collar boxing event for the property industry. It was started in 2015 by Paul Shamplina, founder of Landlord Action, to provide property professionals with an opportunity to come together to try a new sport, get fit, and channel some of their competitive spirit at a fantastic charity boxing event. This year, Cherry Lodge Cancer Care was fortunate to be chosen as the beneficiary.
The 2021 event took place at the Holiday Inn, Golders Green on Thursday 9th December. It was held in association with Landlord Action and sponsored by Hamilton Fraser. Some 240 guests attended and a good time was had by all, whether competing in the ring or watching in comfort.
Seven Cherry Lodge fundraisers, under Tina’s leadership, were on hand, selling raffle tickets, showing a short film about our charity’s many services, and helping with the very successful auction. Sarah Armitage, CL Fundraiser and Trustee, entered the ring to express Cherry Lodge’s thanks to Paul and Rita Shamplina for choosing us to be the 2021 Rumble with the Agents’ charity.
This was a very impressive fundraising event. Great generosity was in evidence – and Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is set to receive an amazing £11,000.
