The Mayor of Barnet, Cllr. Caroline Stock, will be holding a 1920s-themed Gala Dinner on Saturday 25th April 2020. This special dinner, at Middlesex University, is a very important event in the 2019-20 Mayor’s Appeal, raising money for the Mayor’s two chosen charities: Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and Homestart Barnet.
The Gala Dinner promises to be a fabulous evening of fun, with 250 attendees, a fantastic meal, an entertaining after-dinner speaker (Clive Coleman, Legal Correspondent at the BBC), and dancing to a live band playing 1920s music. Tickets cost £65 each and are available now. More information about this event will be added to the Cherry Lodge website nearer the time.
Meanwhile, the Mayor’s Appeal hopes to raise substantial amounts of money from advertising in the Gala Dinner brochure, which will be given out on the night. This is an attractive advertising opportunity for local businesses and organisations as well as a very good way to support two wonderful charities. Advertising costs are:
- quarter page £150
- half page £275
- full page £500
- inside front or back covers £1,500
- outside back cover £3,000
There is also an opportunity to donate £25 to have your child or grandchild’s name listed in the brochure.
