Daniel and Richard Keane enjoyed a very successful day out together on Sunday 21st June 2015, when they took part in a sponsored cycle ride from London to Brighton to raise money for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care.
The father and son team decided to support us because of ‘all the excellent work’ we do for people affected by cancer and ‘in particular for Michelle’ (Daniel’s daughter and Richard’s sister), who is a Cherry Lodge member. The total money raised, via JustGiving and Gift Aid plus an individual donation, was an excellent £1002.
The pair cycled together all the way, covering the 50+ miles in a very good time. On reaching the seafront, they received their finishers’ medals, posed for a few photographs and then had fish and chips with wife and mother Rosemary, who had been waiting at the finish to cheer them on!
