Events Programme
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care fundraisers work hard to put on an interesting and varied programme of events. Coming up next is A Taste of the Middle East at the Landsby on Monday 11th November 2024.
On this page of the website you can see our events programme presented in two different ways. Use the drop-down menu immediately below this text to select either ‘Agenda’ (an interactive list with dates, which is the default option) or ‘Month’ (an interactive calendar that shows the planned events month by month). Each of these options provides an overview of our scheduled events.
You can find out more detailed information about an event in the following ways. If you are using the Agenda view, click on an event to see a display box and a Read More button to take you to the event page, where you will find full details including a map. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, hover your cursor over an event date to see a display box and then click to go to the event page.
Please visit the Snowdon Stars’ fundraising page and make a donation to support the fantastic fundraising effort of the grandchildren of one of the many individuals and their families who have benefited from the services of Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. Please sponsor the children as generously as you can.
Here is their story:
Hi, we are Kia and Myan, Our grandfather passed away on 21st September 2016 after a short battle with stomach cancer. He was lovingly supported by Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and North London Hospice during his illness and they were a great support to him and the family.
This started out as just family and friends but in order to help raise our target we have come together with a local youth club close to our heart to aim high.
With the great support of Masters Youth Club, family and friends, we aim to help raise a lot of money for these charities as well as have a great time climbing. My grandfather was actively involved in the club for many years.
Masters Youth Club have generously come on board to help us with this venture and hope that with the support of all our friends, family and local businesses, we can raise so much funds for these charities that help look after patients like our grandad.
Our friends, Ambika (6), Maya (10), Siya (7), Nikhil (14), Krish (10), Keyush (14), Ishan (14), Shiv (8) and Diya (5) are climbing with us and their parents/carers are joining and encouraging us youngsters to do well. So please dig deep and give generously to support us and the two wonderful charities.
Thanks,
Kia and Myan
The Brews & Soul guys get the month of June underway with the Official Summer Soulstice 2017 Warm Up Party, to be held on Saturday 3rd June 2017, from 8 until late. Note the new venue for this popular warm-up event – at the Old Elizabethans’ Club House, Mays Lane, Barnet, on the site of Summer Soulstice itself, to give everyone a flavour of the big day to follow on Saturday 24th June.
Providing favourite beats at ‘Bring Me Sunshine’ will be Brews and Soul residents Double-J and Jester Groove, plus Matt C (MegaSounds) and very special guest Ginger Tony (Jump Start/Solar Radio).
A limited number of tickets at £6 each plus booking fee can be purchased via the Summer Soulstice website. There will also be a strictly limited quantity available on the door at £10 each. Free car parking will be available at the venue.
This is an Over 21s Only night and Summer Soulstice reserves the right of admission. Please note that buses do not stop outside venue although they do serve the nearby surrounding area (see the Summer Soulstice website for more information). Please note that the main road is not well lit after dark, so please be vigilant when leaving the OE’s site.

The latest news on Summer Soulstice 2017 tickets is that there are fewer than one thousand remaining. Last year’s festival was a sell out so if you haven’t bought your tickets already, visit the Summer Soulstice website and buy them soon to avoid losing out.
