Events Programme
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care fundraisers work hard to put on an interesting and varied programme of events. Be sure not to miss the Cherry Lodge Christmas Fair taking place at Wesley Hall on Saturday 30th November 2024.
On this page of the website you can see our events programme presented in two different ways. Use the drop-down menu immediately below this text to select either ‘Agenda’ (an interactive list with dates, which is the default option) or ‘Month’ (an interactive calendar that shows the planned events month by month). Each of these options provides an overview of our scheduled events.
You can find out more detailed information about an event in the following ways. If you are using the Agenda view, click on an event to see a display box and a Read More button to take you to the event page, where you will find full details including a map. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, hover your cursor over an event date to see a display box and then click to go to the event page.

The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care annual ‘Lights of Love’ ceremony will be held on Sunday 19th November 2023. Attendance is by invitation only. Please note we have a new venue: outside the Cherry Lodge shop in Church Passage, Barnet.

Before the event, people are invited to make a donation to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to sponsor a symbolic light on our Christmas tree. Everyone on the Cherry Lodge mailing list should have received a donation form along with their Autumn Newsletter. If you haven’t received a form, please contact Tina on 020 8441 7000 or email tina@cherrylodgecancercare.org.uk.
On receipt of your donation, Cherry Lodge will send you a dedication card for each person you named plus an invitation to attend the lighting ceremony.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4.30pm. There will be music and readings, the names of people to be remembered will be read out, lights on our Christmas tree in the shop window will be switched on, and refreshments will be served. The Christmas tree will later be moved to reception at the CL centre, where it will stay until 6th January, with its symbolic lights clearly visible through the front window.
