Events Programme
Cherry Lodge Cancer Care fundraisers work hard to put on an interesting and varied programme of events. Coming up next is A Taste of the Middle East at the Landsby on Monday 11th November 2024.
On this page of the website you can see our events programme presented in two different ways. Use the drop-down menu immediately below this text to select either ‘Agenda’ (an interactive list with dates, which is the default option) or ‘Month’ (an interactive calendar that shows the planned events month by month). Each of these options provides an overview of our scheduled events.
You can find out more detailed information about an event in the following ways. If you are using the Agenda view, click on an event to see a display box and a Read More button to take you to the event page, where you will find full details including a map. If you are using the Monthly Calendar, hover your cursor over an event date to see a display box and then click to go to the event page.

The London Marathon returns as a mass event on Sunday 2nd October 2022, with a new title partner, tcs (Tata Consultancy Services).
Due to event cancellations in 2020 and 2021, charity places were carried over and Cherry Lodge was able to register nine runners to take part and raise money for us in 2022. Sadly, this number has now reduced to eight as Lee Alfano has had to withdraw due to injury. We wish him well and have asked for his place to be deferred until next year.
Running for Cherry Lodge in the 2022 tcs London Marathon will be:
- Diana Bertin
- John Fitzmaurice
- Chris Goldie
- Fabio Moruzzi
- Brad Smith
- Artan Taraboshi
- Gary Withers
- Maki Yoshikura
Click on the names above to see our runners’ fundraising pages. Running a marathon is a huge feat that requires a big time commitment and a lot of physical and mental determination. Please recognise our runners’ efforts by sponsoring them as generously as you can. Cherry Lodge Cancer Care provides all its information and support services completely free of charge. The charity has no statutory funding.
Enjoy a fascinating guided tour of old Barnet and also help keep Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s much needed information and support services completely free of charge.

You will hear stories about Barnet Fair and walk in the footsteps of royalty and writer Charles Dickens.
