The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care annual ‘Lights of Love’ ceremony will be held outside the Cherry Lodge shop on Sunday 24th November 2024. Attendance is by invitation only.
This moving ceremony offers an opportunity for people to come together to remember a loved one, to mark a special occasion, to share a token of love, or simply to enjoy the company of others.
Before the event, people are invited to make a donation to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to sponsor a symbolic light on our Christmas tree. Everyone on the Cherry Lodge mailing list should have received a donation form along with their Autumn/Winter Newsletter. If you haven’t received a form, please contact Tina on 020 8441 7000 or email tina@cherrylodgecancercare.org.uk.
On receipt of your donation, Cherry Lodge will send you a dedication card for each person you named plus an invitation to attend the lighting ceremony.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4.30pm. There will be music and readings, the names of people to be remembered will be read out, lights on our Christmas tree will be switched on, and refreshments will be served. The Christmas tree will later be moved to reception at the CL centre, where it will stay until 6th January.
