The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care annual ‘Lights of Love’ ceremony offers an opportunity each year for people to come together to remember a loved one, to mark a special occasion or simply to enjoy the company of others.
Before the event, people are invited to make a donation to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to sponsor a symbolic light on the tree. Everyone on the Cherry Lodge mailing list should have received a donation form along with their Autumn Newsletter. This year’s event, in the courtyard of The Spires Shopping Centre will be held on Sunday 20th November 2016, starting at 4.30pm. The lights on the tree will be lit, the Cherry Lodge singers will be in good voice, readings will be given and there will be plenty of time to enjoy mince pies, mulled wine and a chat with old and new friends.
The tree will be illuminated every day until January.
