We are pleased to announce that the Cherry Lodge Cancer Care annual ‘Lights of Love’ ceremony is returning as a live outdoor event on Sunday 12th December 2021. it will take place as previously around the bandstand to the rear of Barnet’s The Spires Shopping Centre.
This moving cermony offers an opportunity for people to come together to remember a loved one, to mark a special occasion, to share a token of love, or simply to enjoy the company of others. Attendance is by invitation only.
Before the event, people are invited to make a donation to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to sponsor a symbolic light on the bandstand. Everyone on the Cherry Lodge mailing list should have received a donation form along with their Autumn Newsletter. If you haven’t received a form, please contact Tina on 020 8441 7000 or email tina@cherrylodgecancercare.org.uk.
On receipt of your donation, Cherry Ldoge will send you a dedication card for each person you named plus an invitation to attend the lighting ceremony.
The ceremony is scheduled to start at 4.30pm. The lights on the bandstand will be switched on, carols will be sung, readings will be given, the names of people to be remembered will be read out, and refreshments will be served.
