The Cherry Lodge Cancer Care Drop Out group met at Stone House (formerly the Old Red Lion) for a Christmas meal on Tuesday 12th December 2023. The event was attended by 23 members and was hosted by Yvonne, CL Home Visiting and Volunteer Coordinator, who often attends this group’s meetings.
Stone House served a lovely three-course lunch with prosecco to start and coffee and chocolate at the end. Thank you very much indeed to staff members, Charlie and Chris, who were super helpful and ensured everyone was well looked after.
Getting together for a Christmas meal is an event that members always look forward to and everyone had a good time – including singing ‘We Wish You A Merry Christmas’ before leaving the restaurant.
