Spot the difference
Have you noticed that our newsletter looks a little different this time around? That’s because it’s been given a makeover by new editor Helen Renshaw, who joined Cherry Lodge as a befriender two years ago, and her husband Marcus Kirby. In the past, Helen has edited several magazines, but now works as a freelance magazine writer, and Marcus has worked in the advertising industry and is now putting his design skills to good use on the Cherry Lodge newsletter. Helen is excited to take on the newsletter and would love to hear your thoughts, feedback and ideas. If you have any great Cherry Lodge stories that you would like to share – especially if you are a member, volunteer or donor – please contact Helen on helen.renshaw22@gmail.com.
In our lead article, entitled ‘Cherry Lodge Champion’, Fiona Kiddle, tells her personal Cherry Lodge story. Fiona worked as Cherry Lodge’s very special Macmillan Cancer Information Nurse for 23 years until her retirement last summer. It is hard to find words to thank her enough.
