Iris’s Autumn 2024 flower arranging workshop, held on Wednesday 18th September at the Memorial Hall, Hadley Highstone, was another sell-out success. As previously, all proceeds will go to help fund Cherry Lodge Cancer Care’s many services for local people affected by cancer.
Iris is a very engaging speaker, always happy to share her deep knowledge of plants and how to arrange them. After watching Iris demonstrate her impressive skills, developed over many years as a professional florist, it was time for attendees to put together their own arrangements. Guided by Iris, the results were generally excellent, with most people feeling that they had exceeded their own expectations while also enjoying the company of others and having a very good time.

Thank you so much to everyone who came to the event yesterday. Special thanks to Iris – you must take the credit as your workshops keep growing and growing literally. Thank you also to Sandra and Simmi for running the café and Yvonne for networking and helping clear up. It was a super afternoon and I can’t wait for the next one!
