Dawn Ledgard’s Autumn Fashion Sale, held at the Hadley Wood Association Centre on Wednesday 28th October 2015, was, as always, a popular draw for regular and new customers.
These seasonal sales offer fashion-conscious local and not so local ladies an ideal opportunity to buy up-to-the minute designer clothing and jewellery at well below recommended shop prices and without any of the uncertainty of shopping online. Labels included Monari, Signature, Zele, Musa, Ciso and Gardeur. There were trousers, jeans, cords and velvets to suit women of all shapes and sizes, as well as a good selection of smart and casual tops and jackets.
The atmosphere is always calm and relaxed, with no hard sell but plenty of good advice available on request from Dawn (on the left in photograph 4, below) and her assistants. Coffee and biscuits were on offer for those needing a break from shopping or a chance to chat. Sandy from Cherry Lodge was also on duty on the day, taking entrance money, selling Cherry Lodge Christmas cards and publicising our services and fundraising events.
As has been customary for many years now, Dawn will be donating all entrance money and commission on sales to Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. Thank you again Dawn for your ongoing support.
