John Churchill, a member of Cherry Lodge, successfully ran the 10k London Winter Run on Sunday 1st February 2015. The run, organised by Cancer Research UK, followed a very scenic route, starting at the London Eye and passing St Paul’s cathedral and Tower Hill.
John raised £1,720 for Cherry Lodge, with a lot of the money contributed by fellow members who sponsored him. Our photograph (right) shows John at our Tuesday Drop-In, presenting his cheque to Tina and surrounded by applauding supporters! Thank you John for this valiant effort.
