Cherry Lodge Cancer Care sends special thanks to the pupils of Franklin House at Longdean School in Hemel Hempstead for choosing us to be their House Charity for the year.
On Friday, 20th July 2018, Cherry Lodge’s Vice Chair, Sarah Armitage, went to the Headteacher’s Assembly at the school and received a very welcome cheque for £635. This money was raised by Franklin House pupils who took part in a sponsored fancy dress walk and activities (including bouncy castles and a coconut shy) on the school site at the end of June.
Cherry Lodge will put this money to very good use, providing much needed, free information and support services to local people affected by cancer, including family members and carers.
