A big seasonal thank you from Cherry Lodge Cancer Care to the proprietors of The Coffee Bean cafe in The Spires for giving us the proceeds of their 2016 Christmas Raffle. The raffle was drawn on Saturday 17th December and raised a wonderful £352 to help fund Cherry Lodge’s many services.
The first prize, a large luxury hamper worth £100, contained chocolates, shortbread, mince pies, tubs of nibbles, Christmas pudding, stuffing, sauces, condiments and cheese biscuits as well as champagne, vintage port, mulled wine and white wine. It was won by Maria, a Coffee Bean customer (with yellow ticket strip 416-420).
The second prize, a bottle of port and a box of chocolates, was won by Coffee Bean customers Ruth and Steve (with white ticket strip 361-365).
The third prize, a bottle of Irish Cream and a Coffee Bean voucher, is still to be claimed. Are you the lucky holder of yellow ticket strip 141-145? If so, please contact The Coffee Bean.
