On account of the imminent building work and temporary relocation of Cherry Lodge services, our annual Easter Egg raffle was drawn a week early this year – at members’ drop-in on Tuesday 15th March 2016. As usual, the prize was a beautiful chocolate egg from The Chocolate Shop at Cockfosters.
The draw was made by Brenda (see photos) and the winner was Christine Archer. Christine, who was not present to receive her prize, is well known to many people at Cherry Lodge for helping to organise Cherry Lodge drop-ins on Thursday evenings and for selling her beautiful jewellery at our Christmas and summer fairs.
The total raised by the raffle was an excellent £220. Thank you very much indeed to Rose Whitaker, who donated this very tempting looking prize, and to everyone who bought a ticket to help raise money for Cherry Lodge’s much appreciated services.
