Post-race update (26th April): Congratulations and a huge thank you to the four runners who took part in the 2015 Virgin London Marathon to raise money for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. All four successfully completed the course in very respectable times. Unfortunately, our fifth prospective runner, Paul Woodward, was unable to take part due to injury. We send him our commiserations.
There is still time to show your support for our runners by sponsoring them as generously as you can. They have made an enormous physical effort on our behalf so the least the rest of us can do is to thank them by donating to our very good cause.

PAUL ABBOTT-WILLIAMS: Paul is 34 years old, married with two children aged four and one. He has lived in the Barnet area all his life and works in IT Recruitment. STEPHEN FLETCHER: Stephen is 37 years old, engaged to Kerry Aldridge. He has three children: girls aged 16 and three, and a little boy of 7 months. Stephen is a self-employed security guard. This is his first marathon. You can sponsor Stephen at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/StephenFletcher1
ANDY GEORGIOU: Andy is a 47-year-old barber from Cuffley, married with two teenagers. He started distance running about four years ago and has raised money for us previously by taking part in the London 10k and the 2014 London Marathon. ALAN STEWART: Alan is 35 years old and works as an Estimator for a construction company called VolkerFitzpatrick Ltd in Hoddesdon, Herts, He is married with two boys, aged five and two. This is his first marathon but he is keen on keeping fit, playing football and going to the gym as well as running. He is raising money for us at http://uk.virginmoneygiving.com/AlanStewart13
