Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is delighted to announce that the CL shop in Church Passage, Barnet will reopen on 12th April 2021. Our shop staff and volunteers have been back at work since 6th April, working hard to get everything ready. They are very much looking forward to welcoming customers back to the shop and to raising much needed money to help fund Cherry Lodge’s many services for people affected by cancer.

Opening Hours and Grand Opening Sale
From 12th April the shop will be open to customers from 9am until 4pm, from Monday to Saturday.
There will be lots of high quality items in stock, as well as plenty of bargains at our reopening sale.
Donations – summer clothing urgently needed
Now that Winter is over, we need to add to our stock of Spring and Summer clothing. If you have clothing or other items to donate, please phone the shop as soon as possible to arrange a convenient time. Donations can normally be accepted only between 9am and 10am as time is needed to sort them for quarantining off-site before the shop opens to customers.
Please remember that our shop is small and storage and quarantining capacity are limited. We are therefore asking you to bring donations to us gradually over a period of a few weeks, starting with good summer clothing and other items that you think will be most popular with our customers.
Keeping Safe
As previously, the following measures will be in place to help people shop safely:
- asking customers to wear face coverings
- asking everyone to observe social distancing
- limiting the number of customers in the shop at any one time
- providing hand sanitiser at the door
- cleaning doors, surfaces and equipment regularly
- providing our staff and volunteers with gloves
- quarantining donations safely for 72 hours before putting them on sale
- a protective screen in front of the till
- encouraging people to use contactless payment if possible
