This splendid event, held on Monday 25th November 2019 at Hadley Wood Golf Club, was part of the Barnet Mayor’s Appeal, raising money for Cherry Lodge Cancer Care and Homestart Barnet.
As well as being able to enjoy a delicious tea with friends in lovely surroundings, everyone who took up Cherry Lodge’s invitation had the opportunity to learn from a truly creative professional. Our demonstrator and teacher for the afternoon was the multi-talented Ava Rashti (left), whose gift wrapping and flower arranging skills are second to none. Ava also has an engaging personality and proved to be extremely good at explaining some very useful tricks of the trade in a way that less talented members of the audience could easily understand. Homes across North London and beyond will surely look more beautiful as a result!
