Sarah Armitage - Trustee

My involvement with Cherry Lodge began nine years ago when I had a coffee morning and gave them some money I raised. They sent me such a friendly thank you letter that I decided to find out more. Gradually over the years I have become more involved, especially on the fund raising side, helping with a whole range of activities from the Ball, Spring Fair, sponsored swim and making tea on the Bridge afternoons. I became a Trustee 2 years ago so have been more involved in the changes that have transformed the charity in recent times.

I live in Barnet and I am married to Nic and we have 3 children Katharine, Grace and Matthew. I am a Geography teacher by profession but at present fill my time as a visiting teacher for Action-Aid , an adviser for Citizens Advice and a Brownie Guider at Whalebones, so a very varied and interesting work load!
