Ruth Midgley - Trustee
Ruth has been a volunteer at Cherry Lodge since 1996 and a trustee since September 2005. Her work background is in publishing and adult education. For over 25 years, she was a full-time editor/writer/manager, working for several major publishing companies and specialising in books on medicine and health. She was the most senior inhouse editor of the BMA Family Health Encyclopedia, published by Dorling Kindersley. Since 1995, she has worked as a freelance editor and writer, and also as a part-time lecturer at three London colleges, teaching Basic Skills Literacy, ESOL and Medical English.
